Vital Records

The Office of Vital Statistics and Registry registers vital events and maintains the following vital records:

  • Birth records from 1923 to present
  • Marriage records from 1941 to present
  • Death records from 1941 to present
  • Domestic partnership records from 2004
  • Civil union records from 2007
  • Certificate of birth resulting in stillbirth from 1969
  • Adoption records - foreign and domestic

Women, Infants & Children (WIC)

WIC is a public health nutrition program that provides wholesome food, nutrition education and community support for eligible women who are pregnant and post-partum with infants and children up to five years old.

The New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH) today announced a new pilot program that will provide 1,250 New Jersey families enrolled in the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program – primarily in Camden County – to receive a one-time $200 grant to help pay their utility bills. The pilot, launched this month, delivers on Governor Mikie Sherrill’s commitment to make New Jersey more affordable and streamline government services to better serve residents.

Individuals – especially parents, guardians, health care providers, and caregivers – are urged to be aware of the symptoms of this highly contagious virus and to ensure they are up to date with the measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) shots.
